DESCRIPTION:Don’t miss the last RACC membership lunch before our summer hiatus.  The May membership meeting lunch will have a two-part program–Project Leadership graduation and our annual timber/wood products industry update presented by Lone Rock Resources president & CEO Toby Luther and Lone Rock Timber president Joe Newton. The May membership lunch program is generously sponsored by Douglas Timber Operators. \nThe chamber’s membership lunch meetings are held in the community conference hall at the Douglas County fairgrounds complex\, from 11:45 am to 1 pm.  The lunch buffet opens at 11:45. Advanced ticket purchase is required to attend. Online ticket sales only. Tickets are not available at the door. The deadline to purchase your tickets is noon on Wednesday\, May 14.

SUMMARY:Accepting Applications for 2025-26 Project Leadership Roseburg
DESCRIPTION:The chamber’s 36th year of Project Leadership Roseburg (2025-26) will begin on September 11\, 2025. The chamber is now accepting applications. The deadline to apply is August 21. \nProject Leadership Roseburg is a professional leadership development program that also provides participants with a comprehensive education of Douglas County. \nThe nine-month program shares knowledge that fosters dedication and volunteerism in our community to help create a more vibrant Douglas County. \nSince 1989\, the Roseburg Area Chamber has graduated more than 700 business and community-minded leaders from its acclaimed leadership program. \nThe cost for the program for Roseburg Area Chamber members is $775; the cost for non-member participants is $975.  Roseburg Area Chamber members will be given priority and acceptance is on a first-come/first-approved basis. Only one candidate per company may be accepted. A $50 fee must accompany application. The application fee is applied to the tuition cost if the applicant is accepted; if not selected\, the deposit will be refunded. \nApplications can be submitted two ways:  (1) Mail the application along with a check for the $50 application fee to the Roseburg Area Chamber of Commerce\, P.O. Box 1026\, Roseburg\, OR 97470.  (2) Email the application to the chamber business office (roseburg@roseburgareachamber.org) and pay the $50 application fee by credit card using the “ticket” link below. The chamber does not invoice for the application fee.
