The EF 2025 program will review this past year and the economic impacts on our businesses\, county and state. Our expert panel of presenters will explore the issues\, political climate and specific industries and\, share their projections and insight about what business might expect in 2025.  Presenters will also discuss potential impacts resulting from November’s general election. \nLeading our panel of presenters this year is Mark McMullen\, Vice President of Policy and Research with Common Sense Institute (CSI).  Mark brings a wealth of expertise to CSI\, having served as the longest-tenured Chief Economist for the State of Oregon under three governors. \nJoining McMullen on the panel will be Jeremy Rogers\, Director of Legal Affairs & Public Policy for the Oregon REALTORS®; Nick Smith\, Executive Director for Healthy Forests and Healthy Communities (HFHC) and\, a fourth presenter TBA. \nPrior to joining Oregon REALTORS®\, Rogers spent more than a decade working with leaders in the manufacturing\, technology\, health care and energy sectors to identify and solve public policy challenges affecting business and economic development in Oregon. Smith’s background is in public policy and communications\, having worked in the Oregon Legislature in various capacities and having served several members of leadership in the House of Representatives. TICKETS ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE.  The program at the chamber’s November 18 membership meeting lunch will be a presentation discussing the Exit 124/125 Interchange Area Management Plan and Garden Valley Corridor Plan.  The Oregon Department of Transportation and the City of Roseburg are working together on the plan.  For Exits 124 and 125\, an Interchange Area Management Plan (IAMP) will outline a 20-year vision for access and roadway improvements to protect the function and operations of the interchanges. The Garden Valley Corridor Plan (GVCP) will identify strategies for the City to improve safety\, mobility and connectivity so the corridor better serves our community’s needs now and into the future. DESCRIPTION:2025 SEASON PASSES ARE NO LONGER AVAILABLE. \nSeason passes for the chamber’s seven membership meeting lunches in 2025 go on sale December 16.  Member season passes go on sale once a year and will ONLY be available to purchase between December 16\, 2024 and Noon on January 8\, 2025.  After the January 8 deadline\, members will need to purchase individuals tickets for each of the lunches in advance of the events. \nThe first membership lunch of 2025 is on Monday\, January 13\, 11:45 am to 1:00 pm at the Douglas County fairgrounds.  Individual tickets for the January membership lunch will go on sale on December 20. \nThe 2025 membership meeting lunch schedule is:  January 13\, March 10\, April 14\, May 19\, September 15\, October 20 and November 17.  Get your season pass(es) now and ensure your seat at the table for each of these lunches.  Don’t want to pay online with a credit card?  Mail a check to the Roseburg Chamber\, P.O. DESCRIPTION:On April 14\, we’re going to be talking about all the biz going on in DC (Washington DC) and what it means to us in DC (Douglas County)! The chamber’s April membership meeting lunch will host\, from the 4th Congressional District\, Congresswoman Val Hoyle (confirmed) and\, possibly\, from the 2nd Congressional District\, Congressman Cliff Bentz (invited). Hear it all firsthand and have your questions answered about the state of affairs and activities in the 119th Congress. \nChamber membership lunch meetings are held at the Douglas County fairgrounds.  The April lunch will be from 11:45 am to 1/1:15 pm.  The lunch buffet opens at 11:45. Advanced ticket purchase is required to attend. Online ticket sales only. Tickets are not available at the door. The deadline to purchase your tickets is noon on Thursday\, April 10. Our generous April program member-sponsor is Rogue Credit Union.
