SUMMARY:Accepting Applications for 2025-26 Project Leadership Roseburg
DESCRIPTION:The chamber’s 36th year of Project Leadership Roseburg (2025-26) will begin on September 11\, 2025. The chamber is now accepting applications. The deadline to apply is August 21. \nProject Leadership Roseburg is a professional leadership development program that also provides participants with a comprehensive education of Douglas County. \nThe nine-month program shares knowledge that fosters dedication and volunteerism in our community to help create a more vibrant Douglas County. \nSince 1989\, the Roseburg Area Chamber has graduated more than 700 business and community-minded leaders from its acclaimed leadership program. \nThe cost for the program for Roseburg Area Chamber members is $775; the cost for non-member participants is $975.  Roseburg Area Chamber members will be given priority and acceptance is on a first-come/first-approved basis. Only one candidate per company may be accepted. A $50 fee must accompany application. The application fee is applied to the tuition cost if the applicant is accepted; if not selected\, the deposit will be refunded. \nApplications can be submitted two ways:  (1) Mail the application along with a check for the $50 application fee to the Roseburg Area Chamber of Commerce\, P.O. Box 1026\, Roseburg\, OR 97470.  (2) Email the application to the chamber business office (roseburg@roseburgareachamber.org) and pay the $50 application fee by credit card using the “ticket” link below. The chamber does not invoice for the application fee.

The lunch program will feature Tim Fahndrich\, Co-Founder and CEO of Whirlocal Media\, who will break down what AI is (and what it isn’t)\, why it matters for small businesses and nonprofits\, and how to start using it in simple\, time-saving ways. \nAttendees will learn how AI can help them: \n\nWrite better marketing content like emails\, social posts\, and website copy\nHow to go beyond marketing and use AI to help with any repetitive task\nRespond to customer inquiries faster and never miss another call again\nSave time and money and get better results on everyday tasks\, even if they’re not tech-savvy\n\nChamber membership lunch meetings are held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds Complex in the Community Conference Hall from 11:45 am to 1 pm.  The lunch buffet opens at 11:45.
