DESCRIPTION:The Roseburg Area Chamber of Commerce is accepting nominations for outstanding member businesses\, 2023 first citizen honors and more. Honorees will be announced at the chamber’s annual awards dinner on March 21\, 2024. \nBusiness of the year recognition include three categories: small\, medium and large-size Roseburg Area Chamber-member businesses. Check out our list of past recipients of business of the year honors.  Criteria and additional details are included on the Business of the Year nomination form.  The submittal deadline for nominations is February 2\, 2024. \nThe chamber has opened 2023 nominations to honor deserving individuals with our community’s highest recognition\, First Citizen.  Take a look at the list of our past First Citizen honorees.  The chamber is also accepting nominations for 2023 chamber volunteer and innovative business of the year.  Nomination forms and criteria for these can be found online for Chamber Volunteer of the Year\, Business Innovator and First Citizens.  Nomination deadline is 5:00 pm on February 2\, 2024.

DESCRIPTION:Season passes for the chamber’s seven membership meeting lunches in 2024 go on sale December 18.  Season passes will ONLY be on sale between December 18\, 2023 and Noon on January 4\, 2024.  After the January 4 deadline\, members will need to purchase individuals tickets for each of the lunches in advance of the events. \nThe first membership lunch of 2024 is on Monday\, January 8\, 11:45 am to 1:00 pm at the Douglas County fairgrounds.  Individual tickets for the January membership lunch will go on sale after Christmas. \nThe 2024 membership meeting lunch schedule is:  January 8\, March 11\, April 8\, May 20\, September 16\, October 21 and November 18.  Get your season pass(es) now and ensure your seat at the table for each of these lunches.  Don’t want to pay online with a credit card?  Mail a check to the Roseburg Chamber\, P.O. Box 1026\, Roseburg OR 97470\, referencing season pass\, postmarked no later than December 27\, 2023 to ensure it is received by the chamber no later than January 4. \nSeason passes are only available to Roseburg Area Chamber of Commerce members in good standing\, as a member-only benefit\, and are not transferable.

DESCRIPTION:The Roseburg Area Chamber’s April membership lunch program will feature Oregon Business & Industry president and CEO\, Angela Wilhelms.  Angela will provide a brief update of the recently-wrapped 2024 Oregon legislative session\, offer a 2024 election preview and a preview of what business might expect from the 2025 Oregon Legislature\, all with a lens on why these things matter to the statewide business conversation.  Angela is also going to be interested in hearing from our business members about whatever state policy is on their minds\, as part of OBI’s information-gathering for its 2025 Legislative Agenda development. \nChamber membership lunches are held from 11:45 am to 1:00 pm at the Douglas County fairgrounds.  Look for more details in future RACC member “Chamber News” emails. \nAdvanced ticket purchase is required.  Online ticket sales only.  Tickets are not sold at the door.  The last day to purchase tickets is April 3 at noon.
