Get Involved
The Roseburg Area Chamber of Commerce accomplishes many of its goals and objectives throughout the year utilizing the invaluable time, talents and dedication of member volunteers serving on chamber committees, council teams and task forces. The chamber has two standing committees, but will routinely organize task forces to focus on specific short-term endeavors or goals, for example its previously utilized transportation task force and telecommunication task force.
Government Affairs Team
The chamber’s government affairs team (GAT) is charged with evaluating issues, measures and legislation where the chamber has no previous or existing position. The GAT will make recommendations to the chamber board. While having no endorsement authority, the GAT is also responsible for conducting candidate interviews and making endorsement recommendations to the board of directors.
